Gould & Goodrich Gold Line

At first glance, the Gold Line holster is a spitting image of the Blackhawk CQC 3-Slot Pancake Holster. However, a second glance reveals a more stylish, and better quality OWB 3 slot holster.

The Gould and Goodrich Gold Line 3 Slot (the Gold Line is a complete line of authentic leather goods including an IWB, ankle, and SOB holster, as well as magazine holsters and belts) pancake OWB holster designed with a thumb break, double inside line stitching, and strong molding. Aesthetically speaking, the G&G Gold Line looks like your stereotypical Federal Agent holster seen in movies.

Looks of course, are mooted if functionality is sub-par.  Just grasp a Gould’s holster, and you’ll be convinced. This holster is thick, with burnished edges, and strong boning (leathermakers’ term for detailed molding).  The only gripe about the holster, is the belt slots are designed for a belt up to 1.75″, the industry standard. But why? Most carry belts are 1.5″, leaving a quarter inch of vertical wiggle room. With a tight belt and holster snug to the side, this isn’t an issue, but I for one, would prefer more leather. I can respect a 1.75″ slot for the single trigger side slot as the belt will have to change directions, but I’d like to see the slide sides at 1.5″.

If you’re in the market for a durable and gorgeous piece of gun leather, without the wait and expense of a custom shop, this OWB holster may be the one for you.

  1. Great lookin’ rig! And a steal at that price! I have paid that much for a concealable belt holster. I’ll be checking them out!

  2. chose the 3 slot pancake model B803-94LH for my 357. not real happy with it. thumb break is extremely tight and takes quite a hank to get the gun out of the holster. not conducive for quick response time.
